More pictures from our weekend in Missouri. These are from Lexington,MO. The Anderson House was used as a hospital and through the trees you can see the Missouri River. The Battle of Lexington took place here during the Civil War. The house still shows where it was hit with cannon balls and bullets. I was also lucky enough to see Maggie Bonanomi at her studio The Purple Turnip. She was teaching a workshop and I was so excited to talk to her I forgot to take a picture. I did however buy some beautiful hand-dyed wool.
Went to Kansas City to see the grandkids this weekend and took them to Union Station to see the model train exhibit. Amazing details in this exhibit.
