Christmas came Early

I know it is not Christmas yet but it sure felt like it when I opened the box of these!!!!
I have been anxiously waiting for the sample yardage for my next fabric line to arrive.
The shops can start ordering it in January for March delivery. I have several quilt designs done but I need your help. I want to design some patterns for smaller projects because the line includes several petite prints that will look amazing in a small project. This is where you come in-send me your ideas for projects for a chance to win a fat quarter pack of the line. This will end at midnight on Nov 30th.
The line is named "Chocolate & Bubblegum" and has some yummy reproduction double pinks and soft browns.

Time for a Giveaway

But the yarn called to me!

As I was looking for Rick Rack in HL yesterday I wandered too far and found this oh so soft cotton yarn that was calling my name. Now mind you I haven't picked up a crochet hook for over 20? years. I know I have hooks somewhere around here but it was easier to buy a new one. SO I started by winding it in a ball and it really is very soft. I guess some things you never forget. This is the beginning of a washcloth done in double crochet. I haven't taken it out of the studio yet because I know when my husband sees another project his eyes may just roll back in his head. Oh well I will just have to take that chance!

Enjoy the Journey

I find as I follow this creative journey that I am on I want to slow everything down.
Enjoying the journey and process has become almost more important
than the completion. My pledge is to do more hand work and be more mindful
