HAVERSACK in Magazines

 

I received an email from a friend who used to have a quilt shop in our area. She had sold her shop and moved back to the state she grew up in. She told me she had picked up a quilt magazine at the store and was looking through it while waiting to check out and saw an ad for my first fabric line HAVERSACK. She did not know I was now designing for RJR Fabrics and wanted to share her excitement with me. I had to get to the store and find the magazine for myself-I knew RJR was running ads but wasn't sure when they would be out. The first one is the FEB/MAR 2013 issue of Quilt Magazine.

The ad features the Broad Street pattern. Check with your local quilt shop to see if they carry it. If you do not have access to a shop we should have them in stock when we get back next week. Watch the website for the kits!

I wanted to also say a big "THANKS" to designers
Devon Lavigne and Sharon Smith. They designed a quilt
for the same issue using HAVERSACK called Twist 'n' Turn. It is a great Snail's Trail pattern.

I was lucky enough to meet them at Fall Quilt Market in Houston. They were walking by the booth and both stopped and looked at each other and said "HAVERSACK" at the same time. They told me about the design coming out in the magazine.
Didn't they do a great job!

I hope you enjoyed your Christmas and are looking forward to the New Year. I am very excited about all the things planned for 2013. I am busy working on new fabric lines and new patterns.
